Dargaville High School

Located in the North Island of New Zealand since they first opened in 1921, with the aim to provide a quality education for every student who attends.

We worked with Dargaville High to reimagine their classrooms. Their spaces were tired, used and had been well-loved for years. We transformed their spaces into classrooms that are brighter, vibrant and refreshed with LSG.

Now fitted out with our Birch Ply school-purpose built furniture, their classrooms are ready for the next generations of students who will learn in these spaces.

Our Single Student Desks and 4D Chair are the base of these classrooms, with some Kaha Rectangular Tables paired with the 4D Backless Stool to create space for collaborative learning.

To create a study corner, we included the Student Carrel Table, complete with acoustics. These tables are perfect for individuals to have a quiet space while working on projects or to focus when the classroom is busy.

These classrooms were designed with two focus points, interactive TV screens on the front wall and our Whiteboard Wall Unit on the left wall.

Finishing the class with a Rise Up Desk for a moveable, adjustable teacher’s station.

The natural warmth of Birch mixed with a palette of sage green and mist brightens and makes these classroom spaces that will empower learners to explore and enjoy their school years at Dargaville High School.
